Application Rules and Information

The 15th Annual Attack Summer Classic will take place on the weekend of August 16-18, 2024.  This is an unrestricted tournament sanctioned by US Club Soccer and open to all teams registered and in good standing with any US Soccer Federation affiliate.  Registration is open to teams from U8 to U19.

All teams will have the opportunity to play at the SoCal Sports Complex in Oceanside, CA.  This beautiful complex with more than 22 fields is located less than 3 miles inland from the beautiful beaches of southern California: 90 minutes from Disneyland, an hour from the Mexican border and minutes away from other well-known San Diego attractions, including the internationally renowned San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, SeaWorld, and LEGOLAND California.

Registration and Scheduling:
All teams will be required to check-in prior to the start of their first game.  Check-in will either be accomplished online, or if at the field, one hour before the team’s first scheduled game.  Failure to check-in will result in disqualification.  Only 2024/2025 season player identification cards will be accepted at check-in, and they must all be from the same year and same association.  Both laminated and virtual cards will be accepted. Any player being added to a team’s roster from a different club must complete the Loan Player Form required by US Club.

If Friday games are required, they will be held in the afternoon for local teams or any team that has indicated they would prefer Friday games.

We will do all that we can to accommodate coaches with multiple teams, but we cannot guarantee that schedules will be free of conflicts, particularly once a team gets into elimination rounds.  Coaches that have multiple teams and need help with tournament coverage need to have in writing to the tournament the teams they are coaching by the application deadline (July 19th) for the tournament to assist with schedules. Any coach with multiple teams must use the same email address for each team in order for her/his conflicts to be visible as we are working on coaching conflicts.

Hotels:
The 2024 Attack Summer Classic is a “Stay & Play” Tournament, which means that teams traveling from outside the area into North San Diego County are required to stay in hotels that are approved by the Tournament as a condition of participation.  All teams requiring overnight accommodations MUST secure then through our hotel partner EventConnect.

Booking through EventConnect is required for teams and groups traveling more than 100 miles from the SoCal venue. Each team is responsible to book a minimum of 8 hotel room nights by families and friends for each night of the tournament. More information will be sent via email once a team has registered.  Once your team registers you will automatically receive lodging information from EventConnect.
